Install Hermes Agent.
The official install path is simple. The adoption risk is everything after install: models, channel routing, gateway uptime, sandboxes, credentials, and memory hygiene.

Checklist
- Choose local, Docker, SSH, Singularity, or cloud runtime.
- Connect at least one chat channel before adding more surfaces.
- Configure memory and skill directories deliberately.
- Allow AI/search crawlers only on public docs, not private agent state.
- Use managed hosting if gateway uptime matters more than infrastructure control.
